I have a confession to make...

Yes, sometimes I drive too fast, and I may forget to brush my teeth before going to bed (naught, naughty boy) but it's not about that. You see, I truly love a good read. New or old it doesn't matter - I get this "got-to-have-it" urge. In a good and proper manner I might add :-)

I've had this fascination of books ever since I was a young boy, and boy is that a long time ago! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I kind of remember the first TV-sets (yes we are talking stone-age here kids). Men were men, and sheeps were very, very frightened.

Now, having an urge for litterature and that printed "drug" is not too bad. There are definitely more expensive hobbies and urges to have. I do suffer from what musicians call GAS too (aka. Gear Acquisition Syndrome), and that, my trusted fellow, can be bad (not to mention expensive)!

Get ready for a dose of BAS:

Book Acquisition Syndrome is (apart from being a totally new diagnosis) a "disease" that not only won't harm you - it will actually do you a lot of good! How's that for a love bug!

On the following pages you will find links to books on self defense, and also to selfdefense books for women. You have martial arts books in general, some books about teaching the fighting arts, also books about training martial arts, and more.

Don't forget to check out the special ebook section. What's an e-book, you say? That's a good question, and all the in's and out's, how's, where's and why's are answered there as well. There is even a whole page dedicated to audio-books, another thing that is gaining momentum all the time.

Eventually our goal here is to cover books about the spesific arts and disiplines as well: Judo, karate, aikido, kung fu, escrima, kickboksing, taekwondo and so on, and so forth. If I know about, or learn about a site covering books about one particular art or term, then be sure: You will find it here!

You are welcome to use the tips and suggestion form below to tell me about spesific printed matters or sites! This can be any type of printed litterature (apart from articles and reports)  on any topic within martial arts and/or self defence. It can be manuals about one particular style or art, or more general ways to write about it. Everything that you care to drop me a line about is highly appreciated!
