Help us get all martial arts schools listed!

As a free service to you as a reader, we will begin to list martial arts schools from all over the globe. Also self-defense institutes and training facilities that run arts like kickboxing and modern mixed arts are welcome to join here. We do like to keep an open mind as well as a broad perspective.

First of all, use the form below to enter your self defense or martial arts institute. There are a few very simple guidelines. I do check each and every link and always remove any misguiding or broken link immediately.

For your school to be listed, please make sure that it has a web address with what is termed a top level domain (domains that end with .org, .com, .net, .za, .us, .ca, .se, .co.uk, .biz, .as. info and so on). If not - it won't be listed. Domains are very easy and cheap to get, plus great hosting only costs a few dollars a year. There's really no need to do it any other way than the right way...

Furthermore, there is some information that is mandatory, like style. Also help the readers by specifying the state or region you are located in. State or region is common in large countries like the US, Australia and Canada. Perhaps in China and Russia too, I would assume. If in doubt, just add your region.

One other thing, you may list more than one art in the 'Style' field if you have more than one art in your school:  (ex. shootfighting, taekwondo).

Some people unfortunately insist on wasting their own (and our) time by sending info about anything other than martial arts (and budo), clubs, schools institutes, dojo, dojang and centers! No martial arts businesses or organisations will be registered here. Just local schools :-) Thank you.

As we start to build this overview on the martial arts schools we will probably sort them by country and style. That is: The main page is the country. Then you will find the various arts sorted under the appropriate country. On say the British page you may find karate, taekwondo, judo, ju jitsu, kung fu and so on.

Note that self-defense schools that are not traditional martial arts will be listed separately. The pages for martial arts shools are for, well.. martial arts :-) I will use my best judgement as well as the information you provide to sort this out. I may also place your school in both places: martial arts schools as well as self-defense schools if you do both. Again, supply as much information as you can!

Let us work together to make this a win-win (actually win-win-win-win!) situation: Beneficial for your school, for all martial arts schools, for the reader and student, and for this site. That can't be half bad?

I will appreciate you linking back to us, but that is not mandatory. I believe that you are able to sort out what is fair, as well as in the best interest to us all.
